Created to promote health and wellness, Debene invites you to save the date for Global Wellness Day on Saturday, 12 June 2021.

Global Wellness Day is a non-for-profit day, a social project dedicated to living well. The GWD is celebrated on the second Saturday of June every year as an International Day.


On this day, we should ask ourselves a simple question:


“How can I live a healthier and better life?”


The main aims of the Global Wellness Day are to:


  • Recognise the value of our lives;

  • Pause, think and be mindful, even if for just one day of the year;

  • Free ourselves from the stress of everyday city life and bad habits;

  • Make peace with ourselves;

  • Raise awareness about living well and increase motivation, not just for today, but for the remaining 364 days of the year.

Global Wellness Day recommends incorporating at least few of the following steps to make wellness a lifestyle:


  1. Walk for an hour every day

  2. Drink more water

  3. Don’t use plastic bottles

  4. Eat healthy food

  5. Do a good deed

  6. Have a family dinner with your loved ones

  7. Sleep at 10:00 PM
